I took my 5 year old son, a friend, and her 4 year old son to the Day Out with Thomas Tour at the Florida Railroad Museum in Parrish. The boys were super excited about seeing Thomas. When we arrived, we received a map of the area and were instructed to get the four different areas stamped and we would receive a prize at the end.

The first thing we did was head for a picture with Sir Topham Hat and we got our first stamp. I was thrilled that my little guy wanted to see him and have a picture taken because in years past, he was quite scared of him.  The bounce house and inflatable obstacle course were our next stops. These are always a big hit. The boys next played in the tent with the wooden and battery operated trains. This is a favorite of Thomas fans. They also played on the tablets in the "Digital Play Station" area.

We rode in one of Thomas' cars which was an enclosed train car with air conditioning. The ride was approximately 30 minutes total, 15 out and 15 back. When we arrived at the train, we were greeted by the porter who helped us board the train and find our seats. We also got to meet the conductor during our ride. The kids received certificates showing that they got to ride on Thomas.

After the ride we stopped by the gift shop. The boys could have spent hours in there alone just looking at all of the Thomas and Friends merchandise. The boys decided on a car with Sir Topham Hat and a Thomas Pez dispenser. After the ride and gift shop, we decided it was time for some refreshments. We had some delicious freshly squeezed lemonade from one of the local vendors. There were also vendors offering ice cream, snow cones, funnel cakes, and other varieties of food and drinks.

We visited the video tent to get our final stamp. The boys cooled off with their refreshments while watching a Thomas video. Before we left, we got our prize for visiting all of the areas. It was a fun filled day and my little guy and his friend will have some wonderful memories from our trip to see Thomas.
