My husband and I went to Escape Countdown Sarasota as a fun date night last night. We chose the Mad Hatter room and didn't really know what to expect. We were thinking that it was mostly fun for adults, but we soon learned that it can be family fun too!
Each room holds a maximum of 8 people and they are only closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. When you enter the room, you search for clues to help solve puzzles to get you and your companions out of the room in 60 minutes or less. We were paired up with a family of four and we all worked together to make it out of the room with only 14 minutes to spare. If you get stuck, there are clues that will be provided to help you along.
We had an amazing time and cannot wait to go back, next time maybe even with our kiddos in tow. I would recommend it for groups, date nights, and most certainly family fun!
